CMS IntelliCAD 8.1 CAD Software - Now available

October 1st, 2015 - Burleson, Texas, USA.  CAD-MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS, INC. announces the release of the new CMS IntelliCAD 8.1 Premium CAD software.

Following up the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) recently announced release of IntelliCAD 8.1 CAD engine, CMS releases now the new CMS IntelliCAD 8.1 Premium Edition and Premium Edition Plus. Both, Windows 10 PRO 32 and 64-bit ready and multi-core processor supported.

IntelliCAD 8.1 is a mile-stone release that now includes support for Microsoft Windows 10. IntelliCAD 8.1 also includes multi-core processing when opening and regenerating files, which provides a 1.5 to 3 times performance improvement on multi-core computers. Also included is support for opening and saving .dwg files version 2015, developing end-user applications with a new Microsoft .NET API, opening and exporting .dgn files, annotation scaling, publishing drawings, printing to .dwf (or .dwfx), .png, and .jpg files, drawing helices and revision clouds, lofting and sweeping entities, creating polysolids, and various other new commands such as SETBYLAYER, XPLODE, TXT2MTXT, and AUTOCOMPLETE.

Many user interface enhancements are also included: new ribbon user interface that can be used with or without menus, support for customizable workspaces, and ability to quickly switch color schemes.

New Windows 10 and CMS IntelliCAD CAD Software

July 29th, 2015 - Burleson, Texas, USA.  Microsoft Corporation has just released the new Windows 10 Operating system and has started to roll out free opt-in upgrades on some Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 machines.

Important information to CMS IntelliCAD licensed Users:

Prior Standalone versions to CMS IntelliCAD 8.0 CAD Software were NOT built for the new Microsoft Windows 10 and therefore are not supported on Windows 10 and all future operating system versions.

Users running outdated standalone CMS IntelliCAD 7.x, 6.x, 5.x and all older versions will need an upgrade to CMS IntelliCAD 8.x in order to run IntelliCAD on Windows 10.
